This is a temporary project with an approximate length of 3-4 months. Successful candidates will require a security check.

About the Role

As a Bilingual Training Consultant, you will work independently from your own office and occasionally meet with clients in Ottawa. Your primary responsibility will be to develop Employment Equity and Duty to Accommodate plans through research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive Employment Equity and Diversity programs, including tools and related activities.
  • Design and implement effective training and information sessions on Employment Equity for management and employees.
  • Provide guidance and advice to management and employees on Duty to Accommodate requirements.
  • Establish and coordinate various Employment Equity and Diversity Committees.
  • Manage and coordinate Employment Equity, Diversity, and Duty to Accommodate programs.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources Management or a related field, along with a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or equivalent.

  • 10 years of consultant experience, specifically in developing Employment Equity and Diversity programs.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills to provide guidance and advice to management and employees.
  • Demonstrated consultation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills for conducting focus groups and interviews.
  • Bilingualism in English and French, with proficiency in oral, written, and reading communication.
What We Offer
