Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KFC. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles to the highest standard.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and manage financial resources to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that our high standards of customer service are met.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
