About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily interactions with customers, distribution, and brokerage partners
  • Completing and maintaining sales reports and sales information requests for monthly tracking requirements
  • Maintaining and updating customer pricing/promotional/new item setup forms
  • Assisting in tradeshow management/coordination
  • Coordinating forecast information with customers and internal supply chain
  • Building and developing great relationships, both internally and externally
  • Delivering and accountable to annual budget and growth targets by customer
  • Developing strategic account business and promotional plans by customer
  • Identifying opportunities within the market to increase distribution
  • Monthly SOP, forecasting by customer, and collaborating with Supply Chain
  • P&L, trade spend, and deduction management by customer and collaborating with Finance

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in CPG, preferably within the bakery or deli industry in Canada and the USA
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills
  • Ability to travel to customer/distributor/retail tradeshows
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Article Workflow, Retail Link, and vendor portals is considered an asset
