As a Generalist HR Professional with our Regional Human Capital team, you'll provide exceptional people-focused support, foster a unique value-based culture, and ensure MNP stands out as an employer of choice. You'll implement and support strategies, programs and processes that attract, develop, train and retain our firm's talent.
Responsibilities
- Conduct role evaluations, post job requisitions and contribute to recruitment plans to attract top talent.
- Produce job offers and conduct reference checks.
- Conduct exit and stay interviews and manage terminations as appropriate.
- Utilize acquisition and social media platforms to build a talent pool.
- Lead, coordinate and deliver orientation and manage onboarding logistics.
- Manage employee data records, including manual files, payroll and HRIS updates.
- Participate in administration for promotions, transfers, job classifications, compensation and annual performance evaluations.
- Provide support to team members and leaders on human capital issues, including policies, compliance, employee relations, problem resolution, total rewards and performance management.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business, facilitate workgroups, training sessions and meetings.
- Independently manage complex human resource projects, developing solutions, creating action plans and communications.
- Compile ad hoc statistical reports and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate disability management matters with benefits team members and provide support to payroll teams to manage payroll issues.
- Assist with investigations of complex situations and provide guidance as needed.
- Assist in the facilitation of learning and development programs.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary education and accreditation with HR specialty.
- Completion of, or working towards, CHRP designation.
- 3 years of HR experience.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Professional services industry experience is considered an asset.
