As a Generalist HR Professional with our Regional Human Capital team, you'll provide exceptional people-focused support, foster a unique value-based culture, and ensure MNP stands out as an employer of choice. You'll implement and support strategies, programs and processes that attract, develop, train and retain our firm's talent.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct role evaluations, post job requisitions and contribute to recruitment plans to attract top talent.
  • Produce job offers and conduct reference checks.
  • Conduct exit and stay interviews and manage terminations as appropriate.
  • Utilize acquisition and social media platforms to build a talent pool.
  • Lead, coordinate and deliver orientation and manage onboarding logistics.
  • Manage employee data records, including manual files, payroll and HRIS updates.
  • Participate in administration for promotions, transfers, job classifications, compensation and annual performance evaluations.
  • Provide support to team members and leaders on human capital issues, including policies, compliance, employee relations, problem resolution, total rewards and performance management.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business, facilitate workgroups, training sessions and meetings.
  • Independently manage complex human resource projects, developing solutions, creating action plans and communications.
  • Compile ad hoc statistical reports and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate disability management matters with benefits team members and provide support to payroll teams to manage payroll issues.
  • Assist with investigations of complex situations and provide guidance as needed.
  • Assist in the facilitation of learning and development programs.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary education and accreditation with HR specialty.
  • Completion of, or working towards, CHRP designation.
  • 3 years of HR experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Professional services industry experience is considered an asset.
