Human Resources and Staffing Specialist

Protak Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Senior-level Human Resources and Staffing Specialist for a contract opportunity with the federal government. The ideal candidate will have fluently Bilingual (English/French) skills and an active Government of Canada security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing resourcing/staffing strategies linked to HR plans, job marketing strategy, and tools
  • Providing support to the HR Manager in updating policies, directives, guides, and tools related to the corporate staffing program
  • Developing policies, directives, guides, and tools, as well as a monitoring framework and reviewing the delegation instrument for the staffing component
  • Verifying and monitoring staffing files according to departmental policies
  • Coaching Junior Advisors
  • Developing the content of training sessions for sub-delegated managers
  • Other corporate projects as specified by the Technical Authority

Requirements:

  • Fluently Bilingual (English/French) skills
  • Active Government of Canada security clearance
  • 5-10+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Professional certification related to Human Resources, Staffing, or Organizational Design & Development (considered an asset)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid/Remote positions available.
