Your Role

As a Capital Project Leadership Specialist with the Federal Government business unit, you will lead major capital building and infrastructure projects, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients and representing their interests at all times.

You will provide technical and project leadership to teams, overseeing planning and coordination activities, including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring effective issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate budget data and forecasts, providing stakeholders with up-to-date financial information
  • Coordinate consultant drawings, documentation, and submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist design managers in compiling multi-discipline reports for client review, promoting quality assurance and control
  • Contribute to the development of project performance metrics, monitoring progress against established targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, managing complex projects
  • A university degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve client, project, and technical issues
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., MS Project), word processing (e.g., Word), and spreadsheet (e.g., Excel) applications
  • PMP certification, OAA designation, or other industry-recognized credentials are considered assets
  • Bilingualism in French and English is highly valued
  • Reliability or Secret level security clearance from the Federal Government is required

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
