Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist - Cabinetry Assembly to join our Cabinetry Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality cabinetry products using various tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble desks, credenzas, laterals, file cabinets, hutches, bookcases, storage units, and affix hardware according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure quality standards of products and adhere to Health & Safety and Tayco policies.
- Able to operate hand/power tools (drills, pneumatic guns, wrapping machines, etc.) and pump trucks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to take initiative and demonstrate proactive problem-solving in daily work.
- Able to multi-task and adapt to changing conditions.
- Works well with others and builds effective working relationships within the department and Tayco.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and to carry, move, manipulate, and/or position them, as well as move, bend, twist, or occasional awkward body positions while performing work.
- Has good hand-eye coordination and muscular control sufficient to operate tools or equipment and see closely/listen intently in order to detect flaws or errors and achieve detailed results.
- Able to understand and follow established personal safety, security, and environmental practices. Is knowledgeable of and compliant with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Must be trained in Health & Safety.
- Estimated Salary: $20.96 per hour.
