About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. This exciting opportunity involves ensuring that new products meet our quality standards from development through production.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate new product quality and optimize quality processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with the New Product Development team to establish quality standards and specifications for new products.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing inspections of new product samples and develop quality control documentation.
  • Evaluate existing injection molding processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to implement process changes that enhance product quality, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering related field.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • ASQ certification is an asset.
  • Experience in new product development and process optimization is beneficial.
Working Conditions

This role requires almost 100% of time spent in the plant environment, involving moderate physical labor. The majority of work will involve standing and walking as well as some lifting, pulling, and pushing light objects.

The estimated salary range for this position is $30-$34/hour. We offer a fully subsidized comprehensive benefits package, company matching RRSP plan, annual performance bonuses, paid training, and skills upgrade opportunities.
