About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Manager to lead our construction projects in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Oversee the construction process, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Client Interface: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that the company's interests are protected.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that construction projects are delivered to the required quality standards, conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong understanding of pressure piping code requirements and TSSA standards.
  • Education: College or university degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of construction processes, including project planning, execution, and control, as well as a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
