Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team in Toronto. As a Senior Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of project safety programs, overseeing the pursuit of new work, and managing project teams and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Project Safety Programs
    • Create and influence a safety culture as a mentor and model
    • Develop and implement project safety plans and procedures
  • Lead the Pursuit of New Work
    • Participate in estimates and proposals
    • Work with trade contractors and consultants
  • Manage Project Teams and Client Relationships
    • Oversee project teams and client representatives
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
  • Monitor Project Performance
    • Monitor project performance status reports
    • Identify and manage risk and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
    • 15+ years of progressive construction experience with multiple contract delivery types as a leader and mentor
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
