Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Tandel Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of our facilities, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste; and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas; and perform other routine cleaning jobs.
  • Facilities Operations: Perform safety and security checks; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
