Join Our Team as an Automotive Technician at Midas

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems using state-of-the-art computer systems
  • Perform tire and tire repair services
  • Work on car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Repair and maintain steering and suspension systems
  • Replace belts and hoses
  • Work on radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Service batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Repair and maintain brake systems
  • Perform oil services
  • Diagnose and repair check engine light issues
  • Work on mufflers and exhaust systems
  • Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
  • Proven track record of high personal productivity
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  • Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • Able to service both import and domestic vehicles

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

MIDAS locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
