Pet Nutrition Sales Expert for Western Canada

As a sales professional in the pet industry, you will have the opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding company that specializes in premium, veterinarian-formulated solutions for pets. SquarePet Nutrition is dedicated to empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their pets' diets and providing them with superior products they can trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in the designated territory (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories & Nunavut). This role requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to wear multiple hats, and a passion for pets and their well-being.
Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a sales plan that meets and exceeds sales targets in your assigned territory.
- Cultivate Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with pet specialty retailers, veterinarians, and distributors, serving as a trusted advisor and product expert.
- Presentation and Negotiation: Conduct engaging presentations and negotiate contracts with customers to drive sales growth.
- New Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, prospect potential customers, and generate leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering ongoing support and training to our partners.
This role offers a competitive base salary of $65,000-$78,000 per year, with uncapped commission structure and total annual pay potential of $95,000+ first year. The position also comes with comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure success, as well as opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding company.
Requirements:- Proven Sales Track Record: A proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the pet industry or scientific/health-related fields.
- Pet Industry Knowledge: Passion for pets and a genuine belief in the power of holistic pet nutrition.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and accounts at all levels.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
