About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team at A ONE TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR. This is a key leadership position that requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operations management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving business growth and success.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a strong reputation and relationships.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, fostering a culture of excellence.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Technical Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Possess strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and a large workload, requiring attention to detail and adaptability.
Personal Suitability
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, with a strong background in leadership and strategic planning.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
