The Chef Mom is a dynamic and innovative company that values strategic leadership and growth. We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team and drive business success.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Operations Vice-President to lead our operations and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions. They will also establish objectives, formulate policies, and represent the organization in official functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Work Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Objective Setting: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, large workload.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.). Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
