Retail Store Supervisor Role at Brooks Grocery
We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Brooks Grocery. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of unsold items to maintain our inventory levels.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our store is staffed appropriately at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain our inventory to ensure that our store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- 35 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
- English language proficiency.
