About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Sales Director to lead our network solutions sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join A10 Networks and drive business growth in the enterprise market.

Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for managing and developing accounts within the enterprise and mid-market sectors throughout the assigned territory. You will represent A10 Networks and sell its products and services to enterprise accounts, employing a high-touch, high-value sales model to successfully position A10 Networks technology into accounts.

You will develop strategic customer relationships and new account sales across the territory. Key responsibilities include:

  • Primary focus on end-user sales, driving new business sales and upsell opportunities for existing customers
  • Growing the business and delivering results to meet or exceed assigned targets and year-over-year growth
  • Identifying and qualifying business opportunities with enterprise accounts and mid-market accounts, supporting and developing new resellers in the territory, and making strategic business plans to drive business with partners
  • Developing reference accounts in select sectors according to guidelines
  • Developing and presenting professional sales presentations, controlling project progress at each stage, making constant sales calls and following up with potential leads, working with partners to close deals and finalize contracts, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals; providing effective communication of A10's technology value propositions and solutions
  • Managing partners' sales forecast reports and short-term/long-term business plans effectively
  • Maintaining constant internal communications with the Sales Engineer team and outside staff of resellers and customers, submitting business forecast pipelines regularly and reviewing with management on a weekly basis

Background and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven career as a Sales Executive within the high-tech industry, specifically in the enterprise marketplace. Experience in value-based selling and working with ROI and TCO-based proposals for customers is essential. The desirable candidate will have in-depth knowledge of application, network infrastructure, and security, as well as familiarity with all aspects of the network and developing technology trends. Application layer experience is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will possess a Cradle-to-Grave sales strategy (cold calling to close) and enjoy stimulating end-user interest in A10's technology. Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of direct work experience within the Internet or networking market
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills, including formal presentation skills
  • Self-motivation for new challenges to successfully deliver results
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited resources
  • Strategic planning to build stable business streams
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge to customers with good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
