Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Assistant to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and assisting with various corporate legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting correspondence and documents related to corporate matters
Completing corporate minute books and entering information into corporate databases
Ordering and reviewing NUANS reports, Certificates of Status, and other corporate documents
Preparing transactional documentation for corporate financing, including authorizing resolutions and general security agreements
Drafting agreements, resolutions, and other corporate/commercial documents
Reviewing corporate documentation, including Articles of Incorporation and Articles of Amendment
Providing administrative support with respect to accounting and billing, including reviewing pre-bills and mailing out final bills

Requirements:

Post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience
Experience in a similar position in a Corporate Law practice
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Fastco, Cyberbahn, and Legal Accounting software
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
