The Opportunity:
We are seeking an HR Generalist to support our growth, playing a critical role in supporting our team in a combined unionized and non-unionized environment. Your focus will be on recruitment and selection, onboarding, HR record management, and HR administration. This is an onsite in-office role that requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Your Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring hiring within approved parameters and adherence to agency policy and collective agreements.
- Conduct background checks, prepare offers of employment, and oversee all aspects of the onboarding process, including delivery of orientations.
- Assist with the Performance Review process and yearly policy review, ensuring compliance with employment-related legislation and practices.
- Establish relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs, and executing strategic recruitment solutions to meet all recruiting goals.
- Maintain employee records, collaborate with the team, and assist in developing policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Experience with end-to-end recruitment processes, comfortable working with hiring managers and candidates, and meticulous in managing multiple requests and initiatives.
- Familiarity with provincial labour legislation, human rights codes, occupation health and safety guidelines, and Labour relations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build trust, influence decisions, and interact respectfully with diverse groups.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and experience with Dayforce as an HRIS would be an asset.
