Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
Physical CapabilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
