Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Setting:

This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
