We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Plan A BC in Chilliwack, BC. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Job Summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position that requires flexibility with all shifts and rotations. You will have the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and compassionate team, providing safe and quality care to our vulnerable population.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BCCNM
  • Provide exceptional patient care in a variety of clinical settings and facilities
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Valid BCCNM License
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • TB Test done within 5 years
  • Criminal Record Check done under Plan A BC
  • Recent clinical nursing experience in acute care, palliative care, mental health, residential care, or primary care
  • Compassionate, dependable, and qualified staff
  • Driver's license with transportation preferred but not required
  • Two supervisory healthcare references and one personal reference
  • Able to handle stressful situations in a positive manner and adapt to working in various clinical settings and facilities
