The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 and CPR C certification
  • A strong commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care

The successful candidate will provide expert and compassionate care, upholding established clinical standards. They will support individualized care plans for clients as prescribed by their physician or nurse practitioner, maintain accurate and confidential client health records, and administer services including immunizations, flu clinics, travel medicine assessments, ear irrigation, liquid nitrogen treatments, and other treatments as needed.

Additionally, they will oversee the inventory of medical supplies, manage stock levels, expiration dates, and organization, sterilize medical instruments and equipment using autoclaving procedures, participate in interdisciplinary teams to promote care plans, educate clients on healthcare needs, treatment options, and self-care techniques, and more.

In accordance with provincial health orders, Harrison Healthcare requires employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19. The estimated salary for this role is $40 per hour, with flexible hours from Monday to Friday.
