We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Providence Health Care. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient and family education and support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life-threatening situations, and document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of a post-graduate critical care course or two years' recent experience in an equivalent setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, and make sound decisions in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
