Job Summary
Providence Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Critical Care Program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, promote a safe and respectful environment, and contribute to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient and family-centered care principles.
- Provide direct nursing interventions, including crisis management and life-threatening situations.
- Document patient information, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
