Software Development Engineer, Amazon Advertising

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Advertising. As a key member of our Creative X org, you will play a crucial role in building and productizing generative AI-driven tools for advertisers.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services using a variety of core languages (primarily Java and Python) and technologies (AWS).
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Applied Scientists to invent new features and contribute to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
- Solve technical challenges and act as a mentor to junior engineers.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices.
