Software Development Engineer, Amazon Advertising

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon, where you will play a key role in designing and developing the next generation of tools for advertisers to control their advertising efforts across multiple ad products in the Amazon Advertising portfolio.
As a member of our self-service advertising products organization, you will focus on delivering simple, intuitive solutions for small and medium-sized businesses to grow their reach and sales. Your work will require building redundant, highly available systems that scale massively to ensure our advertisers can enhance discoverability for all the products they sell online and connect Amazon customers with sellers and selection anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop Tier 1 services that determine eligibility for an ad to be served
- Work with multiple software engineers and other team members, Product and Program Managers to design and develop new ways of providing exciting and compelling experiences
- Measure success by the quality of execution, the pace of innovation, and the increased satisfaction delivered
The ad serving team is responsible for powering a low-latency, high-scale ad serving workflow for the largest Amazon Advertising product - Sponsored Products. Our team owns the platform and the data required to serve ads, using technologies like EC2, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, ElasticCache, S3, etc. to power the platform.
