About the Role

Infrastructure Ontario is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team as a Project Delivery Specialist. This is a challenging opportunity to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects;
  • Lead cross-functional teams of consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives;
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community groups;
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks to ensure successful outcomes;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial results;
  • Mentor and guide junior staff in their professional development;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve project delivery processes.
Requirements
  • PMP certification and/or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry;
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects, including risk management, budgeting, and scheduling;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when dealing with confidential information;
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, or business administration.
