About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team on the GO Expansion program, the largest transit infrastructure project in Canadian history. The successful candidate will be part of a major multi-disciplinary team, working closely with the Corridor Lead to ensure the best outcomes for the coordinated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Corridor Lead in leading a team of engineering managers, project managers, and deputy project managers, including other specialists as needed.
  • Act as a safety leader across all project delivery works.
  • Proactively engage with Project Delivery Teams (PDTs) to understand their needs and develop resolutions that benefit the programme.
  • Manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
  • Support the Project Controls Centre and team in maintaining up-to-date metrics on performance across the entire programme.
  • Recommend and initiate changes to project delivery plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing them.
  • Interact with clients and stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
  • Manage external relationships important for project delivery, such as statutory authorities.
  • Build and maintain networks with peer project teams and other disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in project coordination, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, health and safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a large team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
