About the Job

We are seeking a Benefits Administrator who will provide day-to-day implementation and administration of the benefit programs in North America. This includes coordinating annual strategy, open enrollment, renewal, and 401k committee meetings, as well as attending biweekly and annual meetings, disseminating information to team members, and following up on action items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual benefit surveys and market benchmarking
  • Review and complete monthly compliance items
  • Track, coordinate, and review all documentation for benefits & 401k compliance testing and audits
  • Maintain and update the Dayforce Benefit Overview pages and benefit information in the HR Toolkits
  • Draft benefit communications (open enrollment, renewal, etc.) and work with Marketing to create distributions and post to applicable internal sites
  • Maintain the global benefit renewal calendar - ensure all benefit deadlines are documented and team members are notified in advance
  • Assist in obtaining benefit information from all global sites and tracking of renewals
  • Stay up to date on legislative and regulatory changes that impact our benefit plan (e.g. Secure 2.0, ERISA, ACA, DOL, IRS, etc.)
  • Work with service partners/HR team to plan new hire benefit orientations, introductions to EFAP program, 401(k) entry, etc.
  • Additional project work as the department scales

Requirements

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in benefit administration in an employer setting
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Above average technical ability using MS Office and Google Workspace products
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to complete work in a timely manner
