Job Overview
Sophisticated GNSS/INS software is driving innovation in the positioning technology industry. As a Lead Algorithm Innovator at Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division, you will collaborate with experts to develop and support cutting-edge GNSS augmentation technology.

About the Role
We are looking for an inventive engineer with theoretical and hands-on expertise in GNSS/INS/sensor fusion to join our Waypoint group. Your responsibilities will include enhancing existing functionality, designing and implementing new features, and providing technical mentorship on algorithms and mathematical applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality software code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Drive feature implementation and verification throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Anticipate patterns and generate new solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end positioning solutions.

Candidate Requirements
  • Adept at reading and writing code in C/C++.
  • Knowledge of coordinate systems and reference frames.
  • Experience with other programming languages (C#, Python, Matlab, etc).
  • Experience with desktop software development.

Compensation Package
$124,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience.
