About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as installing drywall sheets and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Install drywall sheets and secure them to studs or joists
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including heights, and will be exposed to noisy environments.

Security and Safety

The role requires the ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.

Weight Handling

The candidate will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.
