Job Title: Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth surface. This includes taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound. The ideal candidate will have experience working with drywall and plaster, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a variety of locations, including construction sites and offices. The work environment will be dusty and noisy, and the candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment.
