Job Title: Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth surface. This includes taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound. The ideal candidate will have experience working with drywall and plaster, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. The work environment will be dusty and noisy, and the candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
