Job Summary:

Manpower Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of manufacturing bills of materials, participating in the engineering change process, and enhancing overall plant productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Bill of Materials: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of manufacturing bills of materials for all products, including designing and updating process flow diagrams as necessary.
  • Engineering Change Process: Participate in the engineering change process, including designing and updating process flow diagrams, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Process Optimization: Research, investigate, and report on manufacturing concerns to enhance plant productivity, reduce process costs, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtimes and rejects.
  • Production Floor Support: Maintain a daily presence on the production floor, providing engineering support in areas such as ergonomic evaluations, methods improvement, equipment procurement and fabrication, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a college diploma or university degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field or discipline, with previous experience with welding and programming required.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
