Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Therapies, this position provides a clinical role within the department and is concerned with the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages. The Occupational Therapist completes occupational therapy assessments and treatments according to departmental procedures and established standards of practice and in accordance with the mission statement, goals and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing occupational therapy assessments and treatments
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Providing a positive approach to challenging situations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Competencies:

  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Leadership skills

Other Information:

  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
