About the Role

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement operations team, you will be responsible for providing support across the enterprise for implemented technology, ensuring that purchased goods and services meet requirements, and managing ongoing compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement Support: Provide timely and effective support to business units via phone and email, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any issues that may arise.
  2. Compliance Management: Ensure that purchased goods and services meet the requirements of Ariba by managing ongoing compliance activities.
  3. Reporting and Analysis: Provide reporting as required and prepare project presentations to support the Senior Manager.
  4. Vendor Management: Work with vendors to ensure they are adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide process improvement recommendations.
Requirements
  1. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field of study.
  2. Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations, specifically within the retail industry.
  3. Skills: Excellent analytical skills, ability to work without supervision, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and SAP Ariba.
