Procurement Manager Job Description

Jagir Contracting Inc is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures, and overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Purchasing Policies: Establish and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers to ensure they meet company standards for quality and cost.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on procurement activities and results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office.
Work Environment

The Procurement Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
