Job Title: Procurement Manager

Jagir Contracting Inc is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure best value for the company.
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services and manage contracts to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Review and process claims against suppliers to ensure fair and timely resolution.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform procurement decisions and prepare reports to senior management.
  • Advise senior management on procurement strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Dependability, initiative, and judgment to make sound decisions and take ownership of projects.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
