Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Complete Home Furniture + Appliances. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, hiring and training staff, and developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Plan and control budget and expenditures, oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, and authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff, and oversee the analysis of data and information.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and review reports, and advise senior management on procurement-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
