Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Complete Home Furniture + Appliances. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, hiring, training, and directing staff, and overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that goods are stored and distributed efficiently.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of reports and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Senior Management Support: Advise senior management on procurement-related matters and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
