Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales growth strategy for enterprise sellers in Canada, driving execution and setting ambitious plans and targets to support profitable revenue growth.
  • Manage sales forecasts accurately, set budgets and goals for the sales team, and analyze and validate sales performance and critical metrics to maximize growth.
  • Represent the Spotify Brand at client/agency summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotes, and build upon established relationships and develop new relationships with key industry executive decision-makers across Canada.
  • Hire, manage, mentor & develop a DOS within the region, and lead a team of hardworking and consultative sales professionals.
  • Implement/lead/oversee client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledge.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of digital advertising / marketing sales experience, including 8+ years in sales leadership and 5+ years of larger staff management.
  • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational discipline that can lead a team to efficiently and effectively move important revenue initiatives throughout a large organization with high velocity.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial, with strong region-based agency & brand relationships and great communication, consultative selling, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Strategically use data and insights to inform client investment strategy, effectively position Spotify's ad solutions through creative storytelling, and possess a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around digital, programmatic, audio/video best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
