Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the North American Sales Head to establish a robust sales strategy for enterprise clients in Canada, ensuring effective execution and setting clear, achievable targets for revenue growth.
  • Accurately manage sales forecasts, budgets, and team goals.
  • Oversee client engagement activities, including events and sponsorships, tailored to local market trends.
  • Represent Spotify at industry events through public speaking and panel discussions.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team within the region.
  • Enhance existing relationships and cultivate new connections with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Establish best practices that can be scaled from local to global initiatives.
  • Maintain open communication with management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in digital advertising and marketing sales, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in developing go-to-market strategies and executing revenue initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem, including trends in programmatic and audio/video advertising.
  • Established network of senior contacts in media and marketing.
  • Expertise in sales management fundamentals, including forecasting and client engagement.
