As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period. You will handle questions and inquiries, recommend and provide increased limits or coverage, and ensure prompt and accurate service to insureds, sales representatives, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period.
  2. Handle questions and inquiries, recommend and provide increased limits or coverage.
  3. Responsible for all incoming inquiries and requested changes regarding assigned clients.
  4. Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all policy documentation processing.
  5. Record and process various claims transactions.
  6. Responsible for accounts receivable for assigned clients, adhering to corporate accounts receivable procedures.
  7. Ensure all abeyance items are completed through the use of follow-up lists.
  8. Solicit new personal lines business from existing accounts and provide quotations where required.
  9. Provide backup for other Personal Lines Account Managers as required.
  10. Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. RIBO Licensed, or RIBO license eligible.
  2. Minimum 2 years sales/service/processing experience.
  3. Excellent customer service skills; good written and oral communication skills; organized; attention to detail; ability to prioritize; team player; accuracy in recording details.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications; EPIC is an asset.
