Material Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Material & Logistics Planner to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, releasing, and tracking the delivery of materials and parts needed for production.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate the delivery of materials and parts to meet production schedules and minimize inventory levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts that meet the best interests of BRP.
- Identify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, or a related field, or DEC in administration or a related field with 18-36 months of experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English (4/5) to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual Anglophone on a daily basis.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP.
- Willingness to travel when necessary.
- Autonomy and leadership.
- Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
- Team player with solid priority management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to negotiate.
