Job Summary:

Associated Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing water/wastewater treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process designs for water/wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements and optimize plant operations.
  • Conduct process modeling, analysis, and design, as well as plant hydraulics, to ensure efficient and effective treatment processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that Associated Engineering remains at the forefront of water/wastewater treatment process engineering.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • Post-graduate degree specializing in water/wastewater process engineering is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in preliminary and detailed process design and construction management on water projects, focusing on water/wastewater treatment.
  • Strong background in process modeling, analysis, and design, as well as plant hydraulics.
  • Proven technical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication, and coordination skills.
  • Experience in the consulting environment is an asset.
  • Committed team player.
  • Valid driver's license.
