Business Development & Client Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Client Relations Specialist to join our team at Acera Insurance. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-value clients
  • Actively hunt for new business through research, cold calling, and prospecting
  • Represent Acera Insurance at events and meetings, such as golf events and hole sponsorships
  • Meet quarterly targets and gross/net sales
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
  • Work to diversify and increase commercial insurance and high-value clients
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Available to travel as needed
  • Plan and oversee events, such as guest speakers and fun events
  • Track and deliver reports on CRM

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of related experience in a sales role
  • Insurance knowledge or strong business background is considered an asset
  • Event planning experience is considered an asset

  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • Proven record of strong client relationship ability
  • Excellent organizational skills for tracking and reporting
  • Ability to prospect and build relationships
  • Must have own reliable vehicle and a valid clean driver's license
