Job Title: Client Services Assistant

Job Summary:

The Regional District of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full-time Client Services Assistant in the Information Services department. This role provides general and confidential customer/client service and office administration support to the Information Services and GIS department.

Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and stakeholders
* Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with clients and stakeholders
* Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

* Completion of Grade twelve (12) supplemented with completed post-secondary business, administration, or commercial program (between six (6) months and one (1) year)
* Two (2) years of job-related customer service and administration experience
* Industry training and certifications such as HDI and A+ are preferred
* BC Class 5 Driver's License, Criminal Record Check, and enhanced employee confidentiality agreement required
