Kelly Services, Inc. is seeking an accomplished HR Business Partner to join our team. This role requires a trusted advisor and coach who can facilitate seamless integration of HR initiatives and foster effective working relationships.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies, foster a collaborative culture, and support business objectives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to management and union representatives on HR issues and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders and promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Accountable for monitoring and analyzing HR metrics regularly, working with senior leadership to recognize trends and ensure Divisionals have information to justify any variance in KPIs.
  • Coordinate with the Labour Relations team in the resolution of employee relations issues and grievances in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Support the performance management process and provide feedback and coaching to employees and managers.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to fill open positions.
  • Work with the Talent Development team to identify and implement talent development opportunities and succession planning strategies for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, the collective agreement, and legislation.
  • Participate in the administration of the collective agreement and maintain positive labour relations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategy and initiatives that support business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and update employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and wellness.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HRBP or a similar role within an industrial unionized environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • CHRL certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and collective bargaining processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems; experience with Workday is an asset.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000-$100,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, health spending account, company-matched pension plan, and salary incentive bonus.
