Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional

LCI Education is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for driving the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Annual Budgeting: Develop and implement comprehensive annual budgets, including departmental input and long-term financial modeling.
- Monitor Budget Performance: Analyze and report on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Financial Forecasting and Analysis: Create accurate financial forecasts and analyze financial results to identify trends and opportunities.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Design and deliver financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support strategic decisions.
- Financial Literacy: Enhance financial literacy among non-finance managers through training and education.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and leverage technology to streamline FP&A activities.
- Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in financial planning and analysis.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CFA or CPA required).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (or related field) with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in financial software (OneStream, Sage300) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex financial information. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating across departments.
- Professionalism and Integrity: Highly organized, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement with high integrity and professionalism.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
